About GAIPS:

The automobile industry is one of the pillar industries in national economy. According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, the revenue of China's automobile manufacturing enterprises reached 8.67 trillion yuan in 2021, accounting for 7.6% of GDP, and the total retail sales of automotive consumer goods reached 4.38 trillion yuan, accounting for 9.93% of the total retail sales of social consumer goods. The automobile industry mainly involves four parts, namely the supply of raw materials, parts production, finished automobile manufacturing, as well as sales and after-sales services. It is characterized by long industrial chain, high technology and comprehensiveness, and belongs to a capital-intensive and patent-intensive industry.

With the continuous improvement of China's IP protection environment, the innovation players in the automobile industry continue to strengthen the creation, protection and operation of IP rights. With the continuous integration of new Internet forces and communication companies with the automobile industry, new energy vehicles and intelligent networking technology have become a new force for auto manufacturing, which poses new challenges to the intellectual property protection of China’s automobile enterprises. As far as the automobile industry is concerned, how to make IP rights effectively drive the innovative development of automobile industry, how to promote digital and intelligent manufacturing to bring "intelligent automobile", to efficiently use IP rights to form industrial competitiveness, and to advance the transformation and upgrading of automobile industry, have become the important directions of the development of automobile industry in China and the modern manufacturing industry in China.
